BC Winter Games
The countdown is on!
The 2028 BC Winter Games will be hosted by the City of Kamloops, British Columbia. Freestyle events will be held at Sun Peaks Resort.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime, multi-sport experience packed with energy, teamwork, and big moments you won’t want to miss.
Athletes who competed at a previous BC Winter Games are not eligible to attend a 2nd games.
Selection Period: January 1st, 2027, to December 31st, 2027
- The 2028 BCWG Athlete Ranking will be determined using results from all relevant Timber Tour, Shred Series and Regional events from the 2027 winter season.

Frequently Asked QuestionsEligibility
To be eligible for selection to the BC Winter Games, an athlete must:
- Have an active provincial membership with Freestyle BC.
- Be registered in a Freestyle BC club program.
- Be a member in good standing with Freestyle BC.
- Athletes who have competed in the Canada Winter Games are ineligible to compete in the BC Winter Games in the same sport.
- Athletes who have made finals in a Canada Cup are ineligible to compete in the BC Winter Games.
- Athletes are only permitted to attend one BC Winter Games in the sport of Freestyle.
